Bad lenses can cause eye strain, reflections and headache when you wear them for hours. If tracking never updates for weeks, I start to worry about the order. The same is true for metal versus acetate frames for glasses. When it comes to eyewear, the small details really matter over time. Footwear is even harder because different brands cut shoes very differently. For coats and blazers I usually go one size up if I want to layer sweaters under them.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

I also check if the lenses have any blue light filter or anti-reflection coating. I also like when stores show real photos without heavy editing or strange angles. For daily use items I try to balance price, build quality and real user feedback. When it comes to eyewear, the small details really matter over time. Comfort around the heel and toes is more important than super fancy design. Over the last months I noticed that some of my favorite items are not the most expensive ones. A simple pair of glasses or a basic jacket that always works is worth a lot. I also think about how easy it is to track a parcel once it ships.
Hope this helps someone. |
